Free school supplies are nothing to be scoffed at.
The congregation of Landmark Church’s 12th annual Heart of Oklahoma Back to School Bash is Saturday in downtown Purcell.
The event starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. at 2nd Avenue and Main Street.
All the action will be across from the caboose and extending from McClain Bank to the McClain County Courthouse.
The church will offer carnival games, prizes, a dunk tank, moon bounces, a climbing wall and more.
As if that wasn’t enough, consider this: Everyone is welcome and everything is free.
And, yes, that includes the aforementioned school supplies. And food.
