The Purcell Public Library will present the “STEAM Kids 3rd-5th Book Club” Monday, February 23, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the library.

Did you know, almost everything we use connects back to STEAM? Discover the elements of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through hands-on activities and exploration.

Boost your problem-solving and teamwork skills in this program of book themed STEAM programs. Come to a program then read the book it was based on!

This is a really easy recipe and everyone loved it!

Beef Tortellini Bake

12 oz. fresh or frozen cheese tortellini

1 lb. lean ground beef

24 oz. marinara sauce

4 oz. cream cheese (softened)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Brown beef and onions, drain. Combine all the ingredients, except the cheese, in a slow cooker on low.

Cook for 2-3 hours then add the cheese and continue cooking until the cheese melts.
