The Purcell Public Library will present the “Creativity Unleashed: Holiday Crafts! Sublimation Mugs” Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the meeting room of the library.
We all have an inner artist. Join us in discovering the endless possibilities of your creativity. You will be guided through this program exploring designing and sublimating a mug to produce your own work of art.
Supplies will be provided. No prior experience is necessary for this program. Program is come and go.
The program is for all ages and registration is required.

Experience the magic of the holiday season at the annual Purcell Christmas Parade, “Anything Christmas,” where Main Street Purcell will be illuminated with festive lights and decorations, and enjoy the merriment and joy that fills the air!
The parade is scheduled for Thursday, December 11, at 6 p.m.

The next Purcell 2025 Art Walk is set for Thursday, December 11, from 6-9 p.m. in conjunction with the Christmas parade.
Get ready for an evening of art, shopping and vintage treasures.
This month’s event will feature vintage and antique dealers lining the streets, food trucks, arts and crafts, homemade goods and more—all in a family-friendly atmosphere that celebrates creativity and local businesses.

The annual Okeyha Mothers Club Holiday Home Tour is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Holiday Home Tour patrons will have the opportunity to view the homes of Kyle and Amanda Bates, 25196 Doe Creek Trail, in Purcell; Shad and Bri Blackwell, 15251 Indian Meridian Ave., in Wayne; Jason and Summer McIntire, 22855 Johnson Ave., in Purcell; and Jason and Samantha Tompkins, 24797 Norte Road, in Purcell.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $20 through Venmo at @Okeyha-MothersClub.
If tickets are purchased through Venmo, the tickets will be earmarked for them to pick-up at the home of the Country Kitchen.
If they prefer to pick-up tickets at a different location, or pay for them in a different way, please text Jenny Goodspeed at 405-517-5346.

Purcell’s Lights From the Heart at Chandler Park will be open nightly from Wednesday, November 26, to Wednesday, December 31, from 5:30-10 p.m. nightly.
Over two miles of lights are available to drive through.
Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

The annual Christmas Home Tour sponsored by Mothers Entwined is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, from 1-4 p.m.
Christmas Home Tour patrons will have the opportunity to view the homes of Jeremy and Brittany Hey, 24272 Portland Ave., in Blanchard, Darren and Elizabeth Townley, 24455 Ladd Ave., in Purcell, Robbie and Ashley Austian, 826 Wildflower Way, in Goldsby and Tyler and Kaile Richey, 672 Forest Circle, in Goldsby.
You can purchase your tickets for $15 from any Mothers Entwined Club member, Savvy Parke in Purcell, Althea’s Vault in Washington and Occasions, Poppy Lane and Christmas Expressions in Norman.

The Wayne Fire Department is holding its 36th annual Toy Drive.
Firefighters are currently accepting toy donations or cash donations to help them meet their goal.
Toys will be given to children at the department’s program December 14.

Here’s a good recipe to use for your leftover turkey.
Roasted Turkey Enchilada Bake
2 cups chopped leftover roasted turkey
16 oz. jar Taco Bell® Thick & Chunky Medium Salsa
15 oz. can black beans, rinsed
1 cup frozen corn
1-1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
4 flour tortillas (8 inch)
3/4 cup sour cream
1-1/2 cups Kraft Mexican Style Shredded Cheese
Heat oven to 400°.
Combine first five ingredients.
Place two tortillas, in single layer, on bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with layers of half each of the turkey mixture, sour cream and cheese. Repeat layers; cover.
Bake 40 minutes or until casserole is heated through and cheese is melted, uncovering after 30 minutes.
