My mother-in-law, Carolyn Montgomery, gave me this recipe that she received from Carol Anderson in Oklahoma City.

20 oz. can crushed pineapple

8 oz. Angel flake coconut

1 cup brown sugar

1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix

2 sticks butter, melted

1 cup chopped pecans

Heat oven to 325°.

Layer first four ingredients in order in 9x13 pan. The cake mix is sprinkled on right out of the box, dry.
