Graveside Memorial Services for Isaac Coale Courange, 30, of Purcell will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2025 at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mr. Courange passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 10, 2025.
He was born November 22, 1994 in Norman, Okla., the only son of Armondo Calderon and Leah Michele Courange. Isaac was raised by his grandparents, Terry and Martha Courange, in Purcell and attended school there; then later earned his GED in 2015.
Aside from working at his favorite job, Clines, Isaac spent a majority of his life as a self-described entrepreneur. Isaac pursued his passion for music and art. He was a gifted artist and shared his unique talents with family and friends. Isaac could draw anything, wrote poetry and his own songs, worked as a self-employed tattoo artist for a time, and was passionate about his musical engineering.
He had an artistic eye that always saw beauty in everyday things. He loved big, and lived even bigger, sorting out life’s many challenges in his own way. He experienced great loss in his short life, and he always managed to give his best.
Isaac loved his family, hanging with his friends, and he absolutely adored his daughter, Malaya “Lay Lay”. His big heart and unusually odd sense of humor are just some of the things we will miss the most. Rest easy Isaac.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leah Courange and Armondo Calderon, and his grandmother, Gayla Flores.
Isaac is survived by his pride and joy, Malaya Rylie Mae Mills; sisters, Erin Courange of Norman and Marah Courange of Purcell; brother, Ricky Williams of New Mexico; grandparents, Terry and Martha Courange of Purcell; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and many other family and friends.
