Limbs and brush felled by the October ice storm in Purcell will be picked up at no cost to the resident, city manager Dale Bunn said.

The City of Purcell has extended its annual brush and limb collection which ended Friday.

The special collection period will run November 9-30.

Residents must have the brush and limbs stacked at the curb. No brush will be collected from alleys.

In addition to curb-side pickup, residents can take brush to the Purcell Convenience Center, 701 South 6th Avenue, through November at no cost.

The center’s hours are weekdays 1 to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

Access requires residents present their photo ID and utility bill listing trash service with the City of Purcell.
