We all knew it was coming.
The heat has been turned on and the rain has been turned off.
All in all it’s been one wet year.
The central part of Oklahoma surpassed the annual rainfall amount of 36.52” before June turned into July.
Mother Nature added another 1.5” after we surpassed what’s usually an entire year.
The Heart of Oklahoma has recorded 38.64” of rain this year compared to 30.94” for Oklahoma City.
The normal year-to-date total for this area is 20.97”.
However, now the rain has ended for the foreseeable future and triple digit temperatures are in the forecast and it’s humid as well.
Health care officials remind folks to drink plenty of water.
