Graveside services for Hugh “Mike” Grayson, 63, of Lexington will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Noble IOOF Cemetery with Pastor Rick McGee officiating.

Jessica Landers and Jordan Grayson will receive those who wish to celebrate the life of their Dad at Jessica’s home, 507 E. Stewart in Lexington, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 12.

Many friends have reached out with their condolences and to see what they might do for the family. This would be an excellent time to bring your food donations and spend some time with Mike’s family. Please come share your stories or a special memory of our Dad as we take this time to honor his passing.

Mr. Grayson passed away May 9, 2020 at home.

He was born Aug. 26, 1956 in Purcell.

Mike was a lifetime Cleveland County resident. He attended school at Noble and graduated with the Class of 1975. He grew up on his parents’ farm and continued farming on his own place. He was active in FFA through out his high school years always showing steers and received his State FFA Degree. Mike enjoyed classic trucks like his 1972 Chevrolet pickup, NASCAR and traveling. Most importantly his grandchildren stole his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Sam Grayson. 

Survivors include his son, Jordan Lee Grayson and wife, Katherine, of Moore; daughter, Jessica Landers and husband, Kevin, of Lexington; two brothers, Walter Grayson and wife, Pam, of Florida and Pat Grayson of Lexington; sister, Sharon Whitcomb and husband, Harvey, of Colorado; four grandchildren, Lyssa, Micah, Clayton and Lydia; numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

Services will be under the direction of McMahan’s Funeral Home.
