Longtime Purcell educator Kurt Gray was a national finalist for the Sons of the American Revolution American History Award.
The local Norman chapter of Sons of the American Revolution and Mark Atterson presented Gray a certificate at the opening of the Purcell High School Awards Assembly on Tuesday.
“We are proud of Kurt and looking forward to his deserved recognition,” said Purcell High School Principal Jason Sanders.
