The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a 74-year-old Pocassett woman was killed in a two-vehicle traffic accident at 180th and May Avenue just before 8 p.m. July 23.
Investigating Trooper Hayden Hansen said Nelda E. Idle was killed when her vehicle collided with another vehicle, driven by Justin E. Windham, 32, of Duncan.
Hansen said Windham was injured but no injuries were provided in the report.
Two passengers in the Idle vehicle sustained undisclosed injuries.
Hansen reported the Idle vehicle was westbound on 180th while the Windham vehicle was northbound on May Avenue when the Idle vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign.
Windham’s vehicle struck Idle’s vehicle on the front left.
