Errors plaguing Lady Bulldogs

Lexington dropped a pair of softball games last Tuesday to Minco and Newcastle.

Minco fed off five first inning errors by the Lady ‘Dawg and scored 17 runs in the bottom of the first.

Lexing committed 14 errors in the game but did score 19 of their own runs in the slugfest that ended 29-19.

Izzy Pack went 3-4 with a home run and a double and knocked in one runner.

Abby Sample had a 3-4 day at the plate and finished with three RBIs.

Maddie Pack went off in the RBI category knocking in four in a 2-4 outing.

Kiely Givens went 2-3 and had a pair of RBIs while Abby Turnpaugh was 3-4 with an RBI. Leslie Barber went 2-3 with an RBI.

The Lady ‘Dawgs finished with 18 hits as a team.

Lexington out-hit Newcastle 16-13 but fell just short in an 8-6 setback.

They also cut down on their errors committing only four against the Lady Racers.

Sample was a perfect 4-4 in the game while Ryli Harmon was 3-3.

Izzy Pack continued her streak of home runs in the game going 2-4 with the lone RBI.

Maddie Pack was 2-4 with an RBI while Jaci Idlett went 2-3 with a solo home run. Leslie Barber had a 2-3 outing with an RBI.

Monday the Blanchard Lady Lions pinned a 15-3 loss on the Lady Bulldogs.

Lexington was scheduled to host Davis Tuesday and will travel to McLoud next Monday. They have a date at Choctaw next Tuesday with Choctaw and Moore.
