Town and city elections for Byars, Dibble, Goldsby, Washington and other area towns will be April 1.
Purcell is a Charter City and elected years ago to hold their city election in February in conjunction with the school elections, according to McClain County Election Board Secretary Karen Haley.
The only contested race is in Byars where Toby Dial 46, and Mickey McGowen, 75, are squaring off for a seat on the town’s Board of Trustees.
Angela Rogers, 60, of Byars is running unopposed fors that seat.
In Dibble, Scott Bottom, 66, of Blanchard is running unopposed.
In Goldsby, Eric Hendenberg, 50, of Goldsby is running unopposed for Ward 2 while Kari Madden, 55, of Goldsby is running unopposed for Ward 4.
In Washington, James Andrews, 55, of Washington is running unopposed for the Board of Trustees.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
