Funeral services for Elder Michael Franklin Hughes, 71, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Purcell. The funeral service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend at Watch Purcell PC Service Online - Purcell Primitive Baptist Church and on the church’s Facebook site. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Elder Hughes died Dec. 10, 2022 at his home.
He was born May 5, 1951 in Rule, Texas, the son of Fae and Fred Hughes.
Survivors include his son, William Hughes and wife, Andrea Haken-Hughes; his daughter, Rachael Zintgraff and husband, Paul Zintgraff; his sister-in-law, Emma Jean Newman and one granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church or Harmony Plains Singing School, and can be mailed to Paula Brown, 3112 Tayport Street, Norman, Oklahoma, 73072.
