An 18-year-old Edmond man who allegedly carried drugs and a firearm into Riverwind Casino on June 28 is facing felony and misdemeanor charges in McClain County District Court.

Prosecutors filed charges of unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, possessing a firearm during commission of a felony and possession of a controlled dangerous substance against Zackary T. Gossett.

He is free after posting $61,000 bond.

According to an affidavit a Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police officer was called to the casino to investigate a report drugs were found on the property.

The officer went to Security where a tin container was held. Inside the tin were a baggie containing 39 pills which field tested positive for Ecstasy, five baggies containing 6.2 grams of a white powder that field tested positive for cocaine and another plastic bag containing three Xanax bars and two Percocet tablets.

Gossett was waiting to retrieve the tin, the officer was told.

Security video showed Gossett dropped the tin container near a machine he was playing.

When the officer arrested Gossett, he found Gossett had a loaded 9 mm handgun tucked in his front waistband and a THC vape pen in a front pocket.
