Dragons welcome back Constant

Posted

The Purcell Dragons welcomed Payci Constant back from injury and finally got to run the 400 meter relay at Bridge Creek last Thursday.

“This is the first time this season we were able to run a 400 meter relay after getting Payci Constant back from a foot injury she sustained in basketball season,” coach Greg Dillard said.

The relay foursome of Constant, Kora Keith, Liz Caralampio and Gracie Pruitt didn’t waste any time getting it going, posting a winning time of 52.8

“I was really pleased with the way this unit went out and performed,” Dillard said.

Purcell’s 800 meter relay quartet of Pruitt, Caralampio, Tate Quintero and Keith posted their best time of the season finishing second.

“We are making a lot of progress getting our events headed in the right direction,” the coach confirmed.
