Don’t take if you’re allergic

An advertising salesman, who travels all across the  country, was in our office last week.

I posed the question to him as to what part of the USA is experiencing the best economy.

His response, “It’s not great anywhere.”

The old saying holds true, “Misery loves company.”

I have to laugh when I hear a drug commercial when it says, “Don’t take if you are allergic to XYZ drug.”

How do you know if you’re allergic prior to taking the drug?

But one the other day really made me chuckle.

That one said, “Don’t take if you have trouble emptying your bladder or your stomach.

My question is, how do you empty your stomach?

A brother of a good friend of mine recently died of a massive heart attack.

My buddy, was distraught over the loss of his younger brother but I had no idea of his passing.

Out of the blue, I called my friend and asked for a favor and then I asked how he and his family were.

The news wasn’t good and I felt terrible about asking for a favor during their time of grief.

Goes to show you should ask how folks are before you ask them to do something for you.

I got a replacement credit card in the mail the other day.

Used to you would call the company and tell them to activate your new card.

But now we have to either go download an App or download to their website to confirm.

With my very limited technology skills, I chose the later.

But after going through the steps I couldn’t tell if I  confirmed the process or not.

I guess when I try to use the card, if it goes through I made the transformation.

Otherwise, I’m back to square one with the new card.
