Daniel Ray Hamm died September 21, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 54 years 2 months. Gravesite services were held Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Online condolences may be made at www.wadleysfuneralservice.com.

Daniel was born July 21, 1966 in Cushing, Oklahoma, to Joel Orin and Wanda Vonola (Pruitt) Hamm. He was raised in Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Daniel was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born on July 19, 1981 and ordained an elder on February 22, 2006. He loved going to church and preaching the gospel.

Daniel loved spending time with his family, fishing and taking care of his vegetable garden. He was good to all he came into contact with and took care of everybody he could.

Daniel married Amy Nierwimski on December 8, 1998. They made their home east of Noble. 

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Wanda Hamm; his siblings, Vonola McKenzie, Burl Hamm, Dale Hamm, Leonard Hamm, Junior Hamm, Kay Curnutt, Ruby Corter and Ethel Stoddard.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Hamm of Noble; his children, Danny Hamm of Ripley, Oklahoma, Melissa “Missy” Shrabel and husband, Aaron, of Missouri, Waylon Cook and wife, Haley, of Noble, and Ryan Cook and wife, Elizabeth, of Noble; grandchildren, Kailynn, Bryan, Matthew, Nathan, Aiden, Tyler and Malachi; siblings, Ralph Hamm of Texas, Wayne Hamm of Agra, Oklahoma and Gaylene Pineda of Agra, Oklahoma; his mother and father-in-law, Susan and Paul Goldberg of Noble, Oklahoma; a special niece, Alberta “Bert” Sapp and husband, Dennis, of Noble, Oklahoma and many other relatives and friends.
