COVID-19 strikes Purcell Junior High

Posted

Purcell Junior High will be transitioning to distance learning for the week of November 9-13.

That’s the word from Purcell Superintendent Dr. Sheli McAdoo.

“It’s due to the number of staff out for COVID quarantine,” Dr. McAdoo said.

Parents of junior high students were notified at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

There are 323 students on the rolls at the junior high school that includes grades six, seven and eight. There are 32 faculty and staff, according to principal Jay Solomon.
