With three meetings under its belt, Purcell’s committee on what to do with the old Purcell Municipal Hospital is mulling its options.
Committee members include city manager Sam Demel, attorney William Deveraux, council members Allen Eubanks and Greg Wheat, department supervisors Matt Martinez (street), Trey Phillips (electric) and Michael Minor (water).
Demel reports the committee is seeking two bids for the demolition of the property, one down to the slab and one down to dirt.
ASTECH conducted an asbestos inspection of the building last week.
