Clara Mae Rosenfelt died June 8, 2022, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years 8 months 30 days. Funeral Services were held Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at the Denver Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Clara was born September 9, 1933, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, to Charley E. and Ruby Geneva (McFarland) Givens. She was raised and attended school in Tuttle, Atoka, Little Axe and Norman.
On November 26, 1952, Clara married Raymond Boyd Rosenfelt in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, and they were together for 51 years before Raymond passed in 2003.
She worked for Tinker AFB from May 1973 to January 1995 as a Supply Clerk, File Clerk and a Material and Scheduler for Aircraft. Clara enjoyed reading, writing, crochet, taking day trips, genealogy, and watching old western movies while riding her exercise bike. She loved spending time with her family at any chance she could.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Ruby Givens; her husband, Raymond Rosenfelt; her son, Charles “Chuck” Rosenfelt; her siblings, Patsy Black and her husband, Ronnie, Charl Dean Roberts and husband, Troy, Donald Givens and wife, Carol, Larry Givens, and Wanda Jean Givens.
Survivors include her son, Raymond “Gene” Rosenfelt and wife, Linda; her son, Mike Rosenfelt and wife, Karen; her daughter-in-law, Dennese Rosenfelt; her sister, Jeanette “Jett” Williamson and husband, John; her sister-in-law, Margaret Rosenfelt; her sister-in-law, Diane Givens; her grandchildren, Rustie and Shawna Rosenfelt, Jennifer and Adam Greenwell, Andy and Jenny Rosenfelt, Amy Rosenfelt, Monica and Russell Schat and Fallon Harrington; her great-grandchildren, Madison Rosenfelt, Rylie Rosenfelt, Spencer Greenwell, Brecken Greenwell, Audrey Rosenfelt, Juila Mae Rosenfelt, Christian Nipper, Emily Nipper, Joe Schat and Jaiden Harrington; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
