RESOLUTION NO. 26-P01
A RESOLUTION OF THE PURCELL PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY PROVIDING FOR AN ADJUSTMENT OF THE CURRENT RATES NOW IN FORCE AND EFFECT FOR THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL SOLID WASTE AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. THIS RESOLUTION REPEALS RESOLUTION 25-P01 AND ANY AND ALL OTHER RESOLUTIONS PERTAINING TO SOLID WASTE SERVICE AND CHARGES THAT ARE IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the Trustees of the Purcell Public Works Authority (“Authority”) on behalf of its sole Beneficiary, the City of Purcell, are charged with the duty and responsibility of establishing rates for services rendered through the solid waste collection; and
WHEREAS, the Trustees deem it necessary and in the best interest of the Authority and its beneficiary to establish new and amended rates for collection and disposal of solid waste due to increases in rates to the Authority by the solid waste collection provider.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRUSTEES OF THE PURCELL PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY, PURCELL, OKLAHOMA, THAT:
Section1. The categories of service provided through the Authority and its Beneficiary, the City of Purcell shall be and remain those categories currently defined and set forth in the City Code of Ordinances of the City of Purcell.
Section 2. From and after July 1, 2026 the monthly rates for collection and disposal of solid waste shall be as follows:

Section 3. The provisions in Purcell Code of Ordinances, currently in force and effect providing for collection of fees, late payment and penalties and sanctions for nonpayment for the aforesaid service shall remain in effect except as herein modified.
Section 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions, and all ordinances or parts of ordinances, in conflict herewith, are hereby rescinded, or repealed.
Section 5. The above rates shall be effective as approved by the Trustees.
