City bills missing

The Purcell Public Works Authority statements have apparently been lost in the mail.

The bills were mailed out but customers have not received them.

The due date, however, has been pushed back.

Depending on when the bills show up, city manager Dale Bunn said the city will change the date when a penalty will be levied.

The usual due date is the 15th of the month.

“We’re sorry for the delay in receiving your bills and we appreciate everybody’s understanding,” Bunn said.

“Part of the delay is that we made some changes in our system and we’re told the post office has made some changes in their system,” he concluded.
