Purcell’s annual Christmas Parade is still accepting applications for floats.
Chamber Executive Secretary Elisabeth Baker reports floats may be entered until Tuesday for the parade that will be held December 11.
Already, Baker said, some 40 float entries are on the books for the parade that will also feature the Purcell Marching Band.
Food trucks for hot chocolate, some baked goods and corn dogs will be on hand and Santa will be hanging around the caboose at Santa Fe Plaza for photos with children.
