Changes at PMH

Posted

COVID-19 has claimed yet another victim.

When the virus came into play, volume at the popular Purcell Urgent Care dropped to a little below half of normal.

That’s when PMH CEO/CNO Kem Scully made the decision to cut the overhead of the facility next to Cash Saver and move it into an open empty clinic at the hospital.

“Financially, we could not keep it there. We had an empty clinic so we moved it under our roof to cut overhead expenses,” she said.

The move was made May 15. Another change is in the business office where PMH’s business office employees became employees of Harris Affinity in Oklahoma City.

Scully said there remains a staff member in the PMH business office and the business officer manager.

Scully said no one lost their job in the change when that occurred earlier this year.
