The highlight of the year for the Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce is tonight (Thursday) at the new Mid-America Technology Center banquet hall.
On tap at the event will be a silent and live auction and fun games including corn hole.
In the awards portion of the program will be the presentation of the Goldsby, Lexington and Purcell Citizens of the Year and the Lexington and Purcell Teachers of the Year.
Chamber Executive Director Elisabeth Baker said also the Government Person of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Businessperson of the year and Business of the Year winners will be announced.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:15 p.m. with the catered dinner to follow.
There will also be a 50/50 drawing and more.
Officers for the chamber include president Melissa Pruitt, president-elect Sherry Sheehy, vice president John Sanders and past president Greg Wheat.
Directors include Ryan Smith, Regan Knox, Makayan Carrizales, Crystal Bacon, Andrew McClung, Clinton Tharp, Jace Woodrow and James Bolling.
