Funeral services for Calvin Jerry Peltier, 67, of Lexingon were held Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Rose Hill Pentecostal Church of God. Interment was at Chappel Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mr. Peltier passed away Friday, July 29, 2022.
He was born January 14, 1955 in Purcell, Okla., to Calvin Leo Peltier and Juanita D. (Rogers) Peltier. Calvin was raised in Lexington and attended school there. He had a strong work ethic, instilled by his parents, and learned the value of hard work at a very young age.
He married young and welcomed son, Calvin Jr. Calvin worked in paint and body work for many years, and he greatly enjoyed his work. He later married Teresa Henderson and welcomed sons, Jerry Michael and Christopher Wayne.
Away from work, he was probably fishing or hunting. He cherished his family time, and looked forward to camping trips at Lake Thunderbird and the Arkansas River. The last 14 years, Calvin has enjoyed companionship with Donna Edmundson. Calvin was unique; a one-of-a-kind father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by:his boys, Calvin Peltier Jr., Jerry Michael Henderson and infant, Christopher Wayne Peltier; grandson, Waylon Peltier; great-granddaughter, Baby Acora; wife, Teresa Peltier; parents, Calvin Leo Peltier and Juanita D. Peltier and siblings, Sandie Richardson and Ronnie Peltier.
Calvin is survived by his companion, Donna Edmundson; four grandchildren, Dakota Henderson and wife, Tana, Dylan Henderson and Kila Seifried and Ashlyn Reich and Sullivan Peltier; great-grandchildren, Byron Henderson and Calvin Henderson and two more on the way; sister, Judy Brown; brother, Bobby Peltier; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
