Bulldogs hosting

Bethel on Friday

Lexington will host Bethel in their last home game of the season Friday.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. for the Bulldog-Wildcat showdown.

The 5-3 Wildcats operate out of the spread on offense and will employ a 4-3 defensive alignment.

Coach Keith Bolles said his offense needs to generate some first downs and get into the end zone.

“We’ve been playing pretty well defensively we just need to go score when we have the ball,” Bolles said.

“We’re going to get some players back from injuries this week.”

Lexington lost at home last Friday night to Washington 57-2.

The Bulldogs’ safety came on a botched snap on a punt when the ball was recovered in the end zone.

“We were playing some young pups and they never quit,” Bolles said.

Senior Jimmy Northrup led the tackling chart with six stops and recovered a fumble.
