Funeral services for Billy Gene Stephens, 83, of Cromwell, Okla., were held Feb. 23, 2021 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mr. Stephens died Feb. 18, 2021 at St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee.
Billy, known as B.G., was born in Oklahoma City, the youngest of three children of Wilburn ‘Webb’ Stephens and Minnie Elizabeth (McWaters) Stephens.
He is survived by his boys, Bill ‘BJ’ Stephens and fiancé, Sharon, of Cromwell, Tony Stephens, Terry Stephens, Kent Owings of Bethany and Kelly Owings of Lexington; daughters, Gay Stephens and Kenna Campbell and husband, Roger, of Bethel Acres, Okla.; sister, Lueva Norman of Stanton, Texas; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, Kaeson and a host of other family and friends.
