Betty Jean Willingham Albright of Maysville was born on June 7, 1945 in Oklahoma City to Burl and Nethlee (Bledsoe) Willingham. She passed from this life on Monday, January 31, 2022 in Purcell, Oklahoma, at the age of 76.

Betty graduated from Maysville High School in 1963 and spent most of her life in the Maysville area. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Albright in 1963. To this union three sons were born. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. Her sons were everything to her and she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

After raising her sons, Betty attended East Central University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. She worked in child welfare social services until she retired. Betty enjoyed quilting, sewing, and spending time with her sons and grandchildren. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Nethlee Willingham; sisters, Carol Haslam and Mary Lou Bennett; and nephews, Luke Richardson and Randy Haslam.

Betty is survived by her sons Richey Albright and wife, Kathleen, of Moore, Danny Albright and wife, Kim, of Lindsay and Steve Albright and wife, D’Lana, of Purcell; brother, Buck Willingham and wife, Janie, of Maysville; sister, Martha Couch and husband, Gordon, of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Young, Austin Albright, Savannah Hans, McKinnley Albright, Nicholas Albright, Jacie Albright and Brieanna Shain; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Easton Hans, Liam Wilton, and one to be born on September 7, 2022 and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She will be missed very much by all her family and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville with Bro. Danny Gamble officiating. Burial was in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Okla.
