With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Berniece Ann Hobbs on July 10, 2025, at the age of eighty-four.
She was born on July 21, 1940, in Tribbey, Oklahoma, to James Asbury McKiddy Sr. and Agnes Roberson McKiddy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James McKiddy Jr., Calvin McKiddy and David McKiddy; sister, Shiela Taylor and son, Ray Shaw.
She is survived by her brothers, Clyde and Wilbur McKiddy; her children, Veleta Williford, Craig Shaw, Edie Leitch, Eric and Ywain Hobbs and respective spouses and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Per Berniece’s request there will not be a funeral or memorial service.
