Back to School Bash

Free school supplies are nothing to be scoffed at.

The 13th annual Heart of Oklahoma Back to School Bash is Saturday in downtown Purcell.

The event starts at 5 p.m. at 2nd Avenue and Main Street.

All the action will be across from the caboose and extending from McClain Bank to the McClain County Courthouse.

The church will offer a mechanical bull, pony rides, a petting zoo, a climbing wall, games and more.

As if that wasn’t enough, consider this: Everyone is welcome and everything is free.

And, yes, that includes the aforementioned school supplies along with 700 backpacks.
