An argument at 102 E. Delaware last Friday night just after 10:30 p.m. escalated to an altercation and has resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Scotty Weaver.
Police said Weaver and Christopher Bradley, 41, were in an altercation.
When police arrived at the residence they found Bradley standing shirtless in front of the residence.
Weaver had left the residence.
Police waited until the OHP helicopter could be brought to the area. The helicopter would be able to follow the suspect if he fled on foot.
An anynomous tip alerted police where Weaver was hiding under a piece of plywood leaned up against a house at 402 S. Canadian Avenue.
The police arrested Weaver and read him his Miranda Warning. He was taken to PMH to make sure he was FIT for incarceration
Weaver was transported to the McClain County jail where he faces a charge of assault charge and battery with a sharp or dangerous weapon with intent to injure.
When police found Bradley they said he was bleeding above one eye and had a puncture wound on the left side of his torso.
