Alicia Ruth Pounds died April 27, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years 6 months 14 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Lisa was born October 13, 1958, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Otho and Sharon (Cypert) Green.
Raised in the warmth of her hometown, Lisa graduated from Purcell High School in 1976, marking the beginning of a life dedicated to care and compassion. Throughout her years, Lisa devoted herself to being a caregiver, touching countless lives with her kindness and nurturing spirit.
On October 2, 1987, she embarked on a beautiful journey of partnership, marrying Lindon Ray Pounds. Together, they made their home in Wayne, where they lovingly raised three children: Tristan, Katie, and Quintan. Their union flourished for 16 years, until Ray’s untimely passing in 2003, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
Lisa’s passion for life was evident in her many pursuits. She found joy in crafting, fishing, gardening, and reading. Traveling to new places and attending craft shows filled her heart with delight. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she relished camping trips with her children in their younger years and took great pleasure in attending the sporting events of her grandchildren, proudly cheering them on. A quiet and kind woman of eclectic interests, Lisa was an avid rock collector and took pride in nurturing her aquarium, creating peaceful havens for her beloved fish.
Above all, her greatest treasure was her family, and the time spent together was invaluable. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, leaving a mark on all who had the privilege to share in her journey.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Otho and Sharon Green; and husband, Ray Pounds; and niece, Amanda Jayne Green.
Survivors include son, Tristan Pounds and wife, Frankie; daughter, Katie Litty and husband, Chadwick; son, Quintan Pounds and wife, Britney; grandchildren, Alexis Pounds, Raelynn Pounds, Olivia Pounds, Gabby Pounds; her siblings, Fred Green and wife, Jayne, Nealyn Lee and husband, Gordon, Tonya Green; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
