Alice “Ann” Kirkland, from Rosedale, Okla., passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, at 73 years young. Her family was by her side as she went peacefully in Purcell, Okla.
Ann was born on October 29, 1952, to Mack and Nancy Peacock in Colorado City, Texas. She was a 1971 graduate of Purcell High School.
After high school, she pursued her nursing degree and became an RN in 1978. Ann began her nursing education at Southern Arkansas University, and finished her degree in Shreveport at Louisiana Southern University. She pursued her nursing occupation at St. Anthony’s in Oklahoma City for over 40 years.
In 1974, she was blessed with her son, Chad Clift, and a few years later, she met her lifelong partner, Larry Don Kirkland. They were united in marriage, March 17, 1983. Within this union, she gained a stepson, Jade Kirkland.
Ann lived her life to the fullest by helping others or always ready for a good time at the drop of a dime. She never passed up an offer for a road trip for fried chicken, shopping at Buccee’s, or a trip to the casino.
