Washington’s boys and girls qualified for the State Meet in a bevy of events at Monday’s Regional Track meet.

The Lady Warriors won the Regional as a team.

The 1600 meter relay team and 3200 meter relay team were  both Regional Champions. Ava Salcedo won the 100 in 12.43. She also won the 200 meters in 25.60.

Kelby Beller won the 400 meters in 1:02.34 while Julie Hoehner won the shot put with a toss of 38’10”.

For the boys, Baylor Haynes won the discus and was second in the shot put.

Qualifiers for the girls for this weekend’s State Meet at Catoosa include Ashlynn Odom in the 400 meters; Lily Hegeman in the 400, 800, 1600 and 200 meters; Olivia Palumbo in the 400 and 800 meters; Ava Salcedo in the 400, 800, 100 and 200 meters; Kelby Beller in the 3200, 1600 and 400 meters; Aubrey Grimes in the 3200 and 1600 meters; Shiloh Phelps in the 3200, 800 and 1600 meters; Rielyn Scheffe in the 3200, 800, 1600 and 300 meter hurdles; Julie Hoehner in the shot and Delia Snow in the 1600 and 400 meters and Kyra Metcalf in the high jump.

Qualifiers for the boys included Noah Ladlee in the 110 meter hurdles; 800 meter relay team of Max Wilson, Casey Alexander, Kash Guthmueller and Rhett Dickerson; Cole Beard in the 800, Baylor Haynes in the shot and discus and Kane Lampkin in the shot.

Lexington High School finished the meet in 7th place with 37 points.

Lexington’s Meagan Smith finished first in the 800m with a time of 2:30.13.

State qualifiers for the Bulldogs include Meagan Smith in the 800m, Shiloh Phelps in the 800 and 1600m, Hadley Wilkins in the 3200, Lexington’s 800m relay with Wilkins, Lillian Johnson, Adeline Gowers and Smith, Addison Lippel in high jump, and Lexie Torres and Jordan Hardy in long jump.

Lexington boy qualifiers include Elijah Pearman in the 200 and 400m, Boston Huffert in the 1600m and Lexington’s 4x800 relay – Axel Velasco, Klauen Shird, Huffert and Pearman
