If rainy days and Mondays get you down then this past Monday was double trouble.
The day started off with sprinkles just after 9 a.m. and rained anywhere from light to heavy rainfall all day long.
The total for Monday and Monday night equalled 2.3” a good soaking that was very much needed since only 1.59” had been recorded here for the first three months of 2021.
This time last year, the area had already recorded 13.2”.
Monday’s generous rain hiked the yearly total here to 3.89”.
There was a chance of additional precipitation Wednesday and today (Thursday).
