The Wayne Lady Bulldogs picked up a 10-0 win over Alex on Monday. That improved their record to 4-6.
Freshman Audra Watts led the team with four hits and three RBIs in the win. Faith Brazell, Jordynn Debaets and Cylie Jones each had two hits. Alyssa Hobson, Taelynn Ringwald and Addison Keeler had a hit apiece.
The win started with Debaets hitting a dinger in the first inning. That scored three runs.
Wayne scored seven more runs, including five in the fourth inning.
Brazell was in the circle where she walked one batter, fanned four.
Over the weekend, Wayne was in the Stratford tournament where they dropped three games. A 16-1 loss to Turner, a 7-3 loss to 4A Pauls Valley and a 3-2 walk-off loss to Stratford.
Wayne was at Central High on Tuesday and will be in Asher starting Thursday for the Asher tournament.
