(BPT) - Women are handling most healthcare activities for their households, but don’t prioritize their own care. Early detection is key to staying healthy, yet a recent Healthgrades survey found only about half of women had a dental appointment or an annual physical in the last year, and even fewer, just over a third, visited a gynecologist.
Finding affordable care and a doctor who meets their needs can be challenging for many women. The study found that women’s number one criterion for satisfaction with their primary care doctor was whether the doctor listens to them. With over 10 million patient reviews and information you can’t find anywhere else about a doctor’s experience, Healthgrades highlights details women care about, making it easier to find healthcare that is right for them.
