Vasilio “Johnny” Trevino died July 12, 2020 at his home in Lexington at the age of 64 years 7 days. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Lexington Cemetery entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Johnny was born July 5, 1956 in Houston, Texas, to Ruben and Gloria (Valdez) Trevino. He was raised and attended school in the Houston area.

Johnny worked hard all of his life, and enjoyed it. He was a jack of all trades, from shoe salesman to owning his own business, Johnny tried it.

In 1978, Johnny was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born by Brother Alvin Young.

He married Dana Wilkinson on June 9, 1984 in Reno, Nevada. They made their home in Alturas, California, for a few years, where Johnny was a ranch-hand. Johnny relocated his family to Hobbs, New Mexico, where in 1996, they opened Enchantment Lawn Service. In 2003, they relocated to the Lexington area, moving the business to Oklahoma.

Johnny enjoyed wood working, hunting,  fishing, working on his home,  and providing for his family.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Gloria Trevino; and his brothers, Ruben Trevino Jr., and Raul “Roy” Trevino.

Survivors include his wife, Dana Trevino of the home; son, Jesse Trevino of the home; sisters, Carmen Trevino Ramirez of Texas, and Lisa Trevino Fruge of Texas; a special aunt, Irene Moran of Texas; numerous nieces, nephew and other relatives and friends.
