A Celebration of the Life of Sandi Richardson, 70, of Purcell was held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

Mrs. Richardson passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020, surrounded by her husband and daughters.

Sandra Fay Miller was born on July 31, 1950 in Norman, Oklahoma, to J.C. Miller and Juanita Peltier. She attended Rose Hill School and later Lexington Schools.

Sandi owned and operated Sweet Temptations Sno-ball stand in Pauls Valley for many years. Her greatest joy was her family. She was a proud mother and grandmother.

Sandi was a woman of great faith. Sandi was a longtime and faithful member of the New Hope Southern Baptist Church in Purcell. Sandi was a talented artist and was an avid crafter. She enjoyed attending painting classes at the Mid-America Technology Center, and shared her many talents with her family and friends.

Sandi had a beautiful voice and recorded several CD’s, and she specifically loved singing bluegrass. Sandi loved camping in the summer time with her husband, Jerry. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed!

Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Miller and Juanita Peltier and her brother, Ronnie Peltier.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Richardson of the home; her children, Michelle Sweetman of Lexington, Okla., Kerry Taylor and husband, Nick of, Purcell, Okla., and  Jerry Jennings and wife Amye of Purcell; her sister Judy Brown of Goldsby; two brothers, Calvin Peltier and wife, Donna, of Lexington and Bobby Peltier of Lexington; six grandchildren, her “angels from heaven”, Josh, Zack, Karson, Brynley, Brantley and Reagan; one great-grandchild, Kaiden and a host of other family and friends.
