The Washington boys golf team qualified for the Regional golf tournament at Sulphur Monday after carding a team score of 338.

Brody Moore had the low score of the day for the Warriors with a 76.

“Brody played really consistent,” said Washington golf coach TJ Scholz. “He’s gotten better as the season goes on and mentally he’s better.”

Moore shook off a triple bogey on the second hole and made putts to keep his score down while he had trouble finding greens in regulation. He only had 30 putts on the day.

Jax Brewer finished with a 78.

“Jax struggled with his putter a little,” Scholz said. “He hit 12 greens but didn’t putt as well.”

Hayden Keeler shot 89 and Seth Madden shot 95.

Jake Nelson finished with 102.

“Everyone has gotten better,” Scholz said.

Washington travels to Claremore for Regionals Monday where they’ll play 36 holes.
