Monday, February 17, will be a holiday observed as Presidents’ Day by state, county and local government offices, as well as banks and schools.
There will be no mail delivery on Monday.
Closings will include the McClain County Courthouse, city offices in Purcell, Lexington, Washington, Wayne and Goldsby.
Students, teachers and staff at Lexington Public Schools will have the day off.
Elsewhere in the area, the holiday applies to students only.
Monday will be a professional day at Purcell and Wayne Public Schools and Mid-America Technology Center.
Washington Public Schools is using the day for parent-teacher conferences.
McClain Bank and First United Bank will also be closed.
