This house, located at 1723 Pybas in Purcell was gutted by fire early last Friday morning. It was one of two structure fires in the past week battled by Purcell Firefighters.
Purcell Firefighters extinguished a pair of house fires recently, one last Friday at 1723 Pybas and one Monday at 714 W. Apache.
Firemen were dispatched to the Pybas fire at 5:29 a.m. Friday. They were at the scene for just under two hours before knocking down the fire and completely extinguishing the blaze.
The call Monday came in at 5:53 a.m.
When firefighters arrived they noted heavy smoke coming from the front of the house. A burning couch was snuffed out and fire in the attic was doused.
Crews cleared the Apache address by 7:18 a.m.
Both structures sustained damage.
