On to State

Purcell High School’s academic team had a huge day last Saturday at Plainview High School in Ardmore.

That’s when the academic team defeated Broken Bow twice, Tecumseh and Lone Grove High School at the OSSAA Area Academic Tournament to qualify for the OSSAA State Championship tournament.

The State Tournament will be February 5 at Rose State College. Coached by Jack McNeely, the team consists of Cooper Hall, Parker Page, Noah Gracey, Captain Dalton Holder, Hailey Carpenter, Hannah Whitaker, Noria Stell and Mercer Martin.
