Funeral services for Marilyn Kaye Hughes, 71, of Oklahoma City were held June 27, 2020 at the Bethlehem Primitieve Baptist Church in Purcell. Interment was at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2020.
Marilyn Kaye Newman was born April 14, 1949, in Duncan, Okla., the daughter of Elder Jerry Ewell and Letha Faye Newman.
Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Elder Mike Hughes; her son, William Hughes and wife, Andrea Haken-Hughes; her daughter, Rachael Zintgraff and husband, Paul; her sister, Celia Kreie and husband, Elder Dennis Kreie; her sister-in-law, Emma Jean Newman.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church or Harmony Plains Singing School, and can be mailed to Paula Brown, 3112 Tayport Street, Norman, OK 73072.
