Glenda Jo Wilson was born on August 26, 1943, in Bakersfield, California, to Alvin and Ardie Huggins. She passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Goldsby, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years.
Glenda married Marvin Wilson in Nevada on November 8, 1961. He preceded her in death in May of 1990. Glenda worked many years a custodian at the University of Oklahoma. She loved her family and they were very special to her. Glenda enjoyed sewing and crochet and in her early years she enjoyed fishing.
Glenda will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.
Glenda is survived by her son, Kevin Wilson and Abby; daughter, Zelinda Wilson; grandchildren, Rickey, Tonya, Anthony, Mike, Jennifer, Dwayne and Shelby; 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Glenda is preceded in death by: parents, Alvin and Ardie Huggins; husband, Marvin Wilson; sons, Marvin Lee Wilson, Jason Wilson, Mark Wilson and Jamie Wilson; daughter, Sabrina West; brothers, Valton Huggins, Kenneth Huggins, James Huggins, Albert Huggins, Floyd Huggins and Forrest Huggins and sisters, Joan Wilson and Elsie Huggins.
The family will hold a private family memorial at a later date. Services for cremation are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma.
