Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Glen Mulready visited Purcell last Thursday morning.
He met with Fire Chief Greg Cypert, Assistant Chief Rocky Claunch, Fire Marshal Quinn Kroth and City Manager Dale Bunn for about 40 minutes prior to taking a mini tour of the fire station.
Community Outreach Coordinator for the insurance commission, Liana Bortolo, accompanied the commissioner.
During the meeting how ISO ratings are determined was discussed.
He also met with some insurance agents at the Multi-Purpose Building for a short meeting.
Bortolo said they were on a town hall outing that was next headed to Pauls Valley.
