An Oklahoma City man was killed early Tuesday when he was ejected from his vehicle, which overturned and came to rest on top of him.
The single vehicle wreck occurred around 2:52 a.m. near mile marker 87 on I-35.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Austin May reported Zachary Mann, 42, sustained massive injuries and died later at Purcell Municipal Hospital.
According to May, Mann was northbound when he lost control of his 2009 Ford Econoline van.
The vehicle ran off the left side of the highway. Mann overcorrected, running off the right side.
The van rolled a number of times, ejecting Mann and coming to rest upside down on the driver.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation. May noted Mann wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
Assisting the trooper at the scene were Purcell Police and Fire Departments and Wadley’s EMS.
