Doris “Teenie” Lang, of Purcell, passed away November 7, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years.
Doris Ernestine Eddlemon was born March 26, 1934 in Rosedale, Oklahoma to Ulric Lamar Eddlemon and Jewell Bessie (Richardson) Eddlemon.
She is a 1952 graduate of the Rosedale High School and Rosedale has been her home all of her life. She was a loving Mother, Memaw, and great-grandmother.
She was married to Odis Lang in Ada, Oklahoma on February 4, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulric Lamar and Jewell Bessie Eddlemon; her husband, Odis O. Lang; four children, Odis Odell Lang, Jr., Randall Lamar Lang, Andrea Boydston and Danny “Doc” Lang; a grandson, Clifford “Rip” Stringer, Jr.; and a host of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her five children, Donna Stufflebean of Rosedale, Susan Lynn Stringer and her husband, Clifford, of Stratford, Doris Katherine Chance of Konawa, Brent Wayne Lang and his wife, Adrienne, of Wayne and Barry V. Lang and his wife, Tamara, of Rosedale; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Eddlemon of Kingsbury, Texas; one sister, Ann Sanson of Paoli; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Bro. Jimmy Richardson and Bro. Russell Newville. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
