Don Howard Tomlinson of Maysville was born on March 5, 1949 in Red Oak, Oklahoma to Grady and Violet Marie (Ary) Tomlinson. He passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 in his home at the age of 72 years.

Don and his family moved from Red Oak, Oklahoma, to Maysville 60 years ago. He served his country in the U. S. Army.  He worked many years as an overland truck driver. Don loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed reading westerns, fishing, socializing, gambling, bowling, playing pool, and visiting with people. He was an avid collector of different things. Don was always ready to tell a good story to those around him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Scott Tomlinson of Pauls Valley; daughters, Delia Theroux and husband, Joe, of Elmore City and Kendra Larko and husband, Beaudine, of Kingsbury, Texas; brothers, Lloyd Tomlinson of Maysville and Larry Tomlinson and wife, Lagenna, of Lexington; sisters, Mary Tomlinson of Maysville, Patricia Hensley and husband, Don, of Alaska, and Grace Johnson and husband, LeRoy, of Elmore City; and grandchildren, Nataley Atwood, Matthew Smith, Christopher Smith, Garick Lovett and Trevor Beauchemin.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Marie Tomlinson and a brother, Dewey Tomlinson.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Pauls Valley Old City Lake Pavilion. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Okla.
